Mid Century Modern Ceramic and Brass Table Lamp

Mid-century modern ceramic and brass table lamp with original shade and milk glass diffuser.

The ceramic body has a really nice stacked silhouette with alternating curves and narrow waists that give it a slightly totemic feel. Finished in a speckled off-white glaze with soft brown banding, it has that earthy studio pottery influence that showed up in a lot of late-’50s and early-’60s lighting. The brass accents warm it up nicely without overpowering the ceramic.

Retains its original milk glass diffuser and tall tapered shade, which casts a soft, even glow when lit. A great sculptural single lamp with a surprisingly slender footprint for its height.

Condition: This piece remains in its original vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and will be sold as is. The brass base of this lamp has wear, oxidization and patina from age. The ceramic body is in good condition no chips, cracks or breaks. This lamp is in good vintage condition.
