Vintage walnut nightstand from American of Martinsville’s Dania collection, designed by Merton Gershun. The angled drop-front door opens to a white laminate surface with divided storage compartments inside. An open shelf below provides additional bedside storage, and the case sits on tapered legs with the Dania collection’s sculpted stretcher base. Original brass pull. The small interior drawer that would have originally been inside the upper compartment is missing. No makers mark.

Condition: This piece is shown in its current condition and will be reconditioned after purchase to meet our excellent vintage condition standards while preserving its history and vintage character. If purchasing as-is, this piece is in well used-vintage condition. There are scratches, scuffs, paint marks, discoloration, finish fading, veneer chips, and general wear throughout. There is additional wear and staining to the top and lower shelf. The small interior drawer is missing, as photographed. We can remake the drawer if desired. The brass hardware has patina and surface wear from age. A small escutcheon piece of the hardware/backer behind the front handle is also missing, as photographed.
