1960s Romanian hideaway dining set with a drop-leaf table and four matching folding chairs. Both leaves open to create a full-size dining table, then fold down against the center cabinet when not in use. All four slatted wood chairs fold flat and store inside the table behind the tambour door, and a small drawer at the opposite end provides additional storage. The center cabinet sits on casters, making the entire set easy to move when folded. This Romanian design dates to the 1960s and was made specifically as a compact, space-saving dining set. Made in Romania stamp on bottom of chair.
