Condition: This piece is shown in its current condition and the wood pieces (table and chair legs) will be reconditioned after purchase to meet our excellent vintage condition standards while preserving its vintage character. We can recommend a great local upholster for the reupholstery—we dont reupholster ourselves!
The dining set is in well-used vintage condition. The table shows scattered scratches, scuffs, dents, rub marks, and paint transfer throughout. Along the outer border of the tabletop, there appears to be a blush or finish reaction, resulting in a cloudy appearance with visible fabric impressions. Edge wear is present throughout, including along the table legs, tabletop edges, and the edges of both leaves. The leaf corners have minor dings and wear as photographed. The table is structurally sound. The chairs are also in well-used vintage condition. The wood frames exhibit scattered scratches, scuffs, dings, dents, and finish wear throughout. They remain structurally sound; however, the upholstery would benefit from cleaning and/or restoration. The fabric shows staining, water staining, fading, and general wear consistent with age and use. Please review all photographs carefully for the complete condition details.
