Early 20th Century Globe-Wernicke Antique Tiger Oak Stacking Barrister Bookcase
A classic Globe-Wernicke barrister bookcase crafted in quarter-sawn tiger oak with four stacking sections and original glass lift doors. Patinaed brass strap hardware and the rich oak grain give the piece its unmistakable Arts & Crafts character, while the modular design allows each section to be separated for transport. Retaining its original manufacturer’s label, this early 20th-century bookcase is equally suited for displaying books, collectibles, or decorative objects. Maker’s mark inside.

Condition: This piece is shown in its current condition and will be reconditioned after purchase to meet our excellent vintage condition standards while preserving its vintage character. If purchasing in "as-is" condition please note this piece is in used vintage condition. Scattered throughout their areas of worn finish, scratches, scuffs, and small dings throughout. The glass has minor wear with just a few surface scratches, no chips or breaks. The bookcase stores open and close as intended and quite smooth for this piece’s age. There’s quite a bit of where along the very bottom as photographed. The brass hardware has patinaed beautifully overtime but does show some wear with oxidization and some scratches.
