Don Chadwick for Herman Miller 1970s Four-Piece Modular Sectional Sofa

Original four-piece Chadwick Modular Seating system designed by Don Chadwick for Herman Miller in 1974. Each fully upholstered section can be used individually as a lounge chair or connected and rearranged to create a sofa or sectional in different configurations. The molded seats have low sculpted backs, deep curves between the seat and back, and the original ribbed black bases. This set includes four modules in brown upholstery. Herman Miller introduced Chadwick Modular Seating in 1974, and the design was later reissued in 2015.

Condition: This piece is in well used-vintage condition and will be sold as-is. The upholstery has scattered staining, water staining, discoloration, and general wear throughout. There are a few snags and pulls in the upholstery, but no holes or tears. One of the four sections has a broken area along the black plastic base, as photographed.
