Danish Modern Vintage Dining Set

Danish modern teak dining set designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold, Denmark. Includes the extension dining table, two leaves, and six dining chairs with sculpted teak backs and upholstered seats. Leaves of the dining table store within the table.

A really well-balanced set visually — the table has softly rounded edges and tapered legs, while the chairs have light, airy feel due to the ladder back design.

Dining chairs are Model 82 Embassy Chair and 62 both in teak designed by Niels Otto Møller for J.L. Moller.

Dimensions of Embassy chairs: approx. 19.5” × 20.5” × 38.5” × 18” (width × depth × height × seat height)

Dimensions of armchairs: 21.75” width x 20” depth x 31.5” height; 18” seat height 27.5” arm height

The chairs impress with their balanced proportions, calm yet powerful presence, and exceptional craftsmanship. The frame is made of solid teak, and displays a warm, even grain.

Condition: This piece is shown in its current condition and will be reconditioned after purchase to meet our excellent vintage condition standards while preserving its vintage character. Price also includes reupholstery of chairs with fabric provided by customer.
