Danish Modern Teak Dining Set with 6 “Model 31” Chairs by Kai Kristiansen for Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik and 3 Leaves

Vintage Danish modern teak dining set featuring an expandable dining table with three extension leaves and six Model 31 dining chairs designed by Kai Kristiansen for Schou Andersen Møbelfabrik in Denmark.

The dining table features a rounded oval shape, tapered legs, and three removable leaves that allow it to accommodate additional seating. The warm teak grain and gently curved edges complement the sculpted wooden frames of the chairs.

The six Model 31 chairs feature curved backrests, angled supports, and upholstered seats and backs in black fabric. The combination of the expandable table and six matching chairs makes this a versatile dining set for everyday use or larger gatherings.

Dimensions: table is 47.125”W x 47.125”D x 29.125”H and knee clearance is 25.5”. Fully extend table is 105.375”W. Two leaves are 19.5” and one is 19.375”

chairs are 19.625”W x 19.875”D x 29.375”H. Seat height is 17.75”H and seat depth is 17”D.

Condition: This set is shown in its current condition and all wood (chair frames and dining table) will be reconditioned after purchase to meet our excellent vintage condition standards while preserving its history and vintage character. If purchasing as-is, this set is in well used-vintage condition. The dining table shows fading and finish wear, along with scratches, scuffs, dents, and dings scattered throughout. There is a chip in the table’s apron as photographed. One leaf has apron/skirt detailing while the other two do not. All six chairs are structurally sound. The wooden frames show fading, scratches, scuffs, dents, and dings throughout. The black upholstery has fading, discoloration, and staining consistent with age and use.
