1960s Danish Modern Rosewood Bookcase with Adjustable Shelves

1960s Danish Modern bookcase in rosewood with two open shelving sections and a central divider. Each side has adjustable shelves with rounded front edges, allowing the spacing to be changed for books, ceramics, art, or larger objects. The rosewood has strong grain throughout the shelves, interior, and back panels. The case sits on four slim tapered legs, giving this fairly substantial bookcase a lighter profile. Maker is currently unknown. Similar Danish rosewood bookcases from the period were produced by several manufacturers, so I’d leave the attribution open until we can inspect it more closely.

Dimensions: 51.25”W x 10.25”D x 59”H

Condition: This piece remains in its original vintage condition with minor signs of wear consistent with age and will be sold as is. This piece is in good used-vintage condition. There are scattered scuffs, scratches, and dings throughout. The left side has some more notable marks, as photographed. Overall, this piece is in good vintage condition and is structurally sound.
