Pair of 1960s Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold Teak Woven Side Chairs
Designed by Arne Hovmand-Olsen for Mogens Kold, these Danish teak side chairs showcase the graceful proportions and craftsmanship that define Scandinavian modern design. Each chair features a sculpted, gently curved backrest that flows into tapered legs, while the handwoven paper cord seat adds warmth, texture, and everyday comfort. The clean lines and organic shaping make these chairs feel light yet substantial, equally suited for a dining table, desk, or occasional seating. Produced in Denmark during the 1960s, they remain enduring examples of thoughtful, functional design.
